SIMON FIELDER HORSEMANSHIP

HORSE AGISTMENT
At Simon Fielder Horsemanship, we believe agistment is about more than simply providing a paddock. We aim to create a safe, supportive and respectful environment where horses and their humans can learn, grow and thrive together.
Our property is home to a community of horse owners who value horse welfare, good horsemanship, personal responsibility and positive relationships. We recognise that every horse and owner is unique, and we strive to foster an environment where people feel welcome, supported and encouraged.
If you are looking for a horse-first environment built on respect, learning and collaboration, we would love to hear from you.

INSURANCE
Owners are responsible for arranging any insurance they wish to hold in relation to their horse, including veterinary and mortality cover where desired. Simon Fielder Horsemanship strongly recommends appropriate insurance cover for all horses.
VACCINATIONS
The health and wellbeing of every horse on the property is extremely important to us.
To help protect the horses in our care, fellow owners, ourselves and visiting professionals, we require all horses staying on the property for agistment or training to be currently vaccinated against:
• Hendra Virus
• Strangles
• Tetanus
While we appreciate that vaccination decisions are ultimately a matter for individual horse owners, our experience has shown that maintaining a vaccinated population is one of the most effective ways to minimise the risk and impact of serious infectious diseases within a shared horse environment.
For horses residing on the property, vaccination helps protect not only the individual horse, but also the wider equine community. It also assists us in maintaining a safe and responsible environment for owners, veterinarians, farriers, service providers and visitors.
For horses attending the property for day visits, lessons, clinics or other short-term activities, we do not require vaccination. However, owners will be asked to complete a Horse Health Declaration confirming that their horse is healthy and free from any known infectious disease concerns prior to attending.
We recognise that every horse owner's circumstances are different and are always happy to discuss any questions you may have regarding our vaccination requirements. Our goal is simply to provide the safest possible environment for all horses and people who enjoy and use the facility.
